Hi, I'm Anthea Weir – the owner and designer of Anthea Evelyn Design. I live on the sunny Kapiti Coast, in New Zealand.

Passionate about art, design and illustration, I enjoy creating images that people love and are proud to own. After studying art, I trained as a graphic designer. Fusing illustration, art and design keeps my work authentic and fun. 

 

I have worked in a fast paced magazine company and design studio, through to freelancing in my home office.

Collage is my specialty in art. I recycle various types of paper and apply them like a paint palette to create new work from existing images, shapes and patterns. Each piece of art is meticulously constructed with hundreds of small torn pieces. The final effect can often be mistaken for hand painted work, but when approached closer, the viewer is suprised to discover it is collage.
