This is one of my favourite paintings. A picture can paint a thousand words!

Love school holidays, rainy afternoons, a few old magazines, plenty of glue and a little inspiration from the
Chiang Mai zoo in Thailand!

Teal Caravan

Took the kids camping for the first time. Somehow it was my children that scored this cute wee caravan. Meanwhile I slept in the tent and listened to the rain.

However, I did get time to play with water colours for the first time and I think I'm hooked!

The McKenzie country is close to where I grew up. I still can't drive through without admiring these breathtaking hills.

I love taking photos and making sketches. I don't often get the chance to paint. But here's one of my latest, taken while on a family holiday in the Bay of Islands. What a stunning place.
